Hodges Bridle & Co was a Partnership formed in September, 1978 by Mr Stephen Hodges and Mr Clive Bridle.
In July, 1999 this Partnership became a Limited Company, which has enhanced the Company’s commitment to providing quality workmanship and client satisfaction.
As turnover increased to over £5,000,000.00 we had outgrown Wardrew Road Offices and in April, 2003, we moved to our new offices in Marsh Barton, where we enjoy a much larger office and stores and is coupled with continuing growth of the Company.
With the increasing turnover we are pleased to be able to serve our existing clients such as the Health Authority, Exeter University and Devon County Council plus the Private and Commercial Clients and we are pleased to be able to offer a full range of Building Services for New Build, Refurbishment, Alteration, and Maintenance. This includes a Design and Build Service. We are also constantly looking to extend our Client Base to increase our turnover under Controlled Management.
Since we have moved to our new premises we have developed a Capital Works Division (Major Works) and a Minor Works Division which includes Refurbishment Projects, Maintenance and, Insurance works.
The Management Structure consists of the following personnel :
- 2 working Directors
- 4 Contract Managers
- 1 Major Works Estimator
- 1 Quantity Surveyor
- 1 Office Manager
- 2 Clerical Staff
- And some 50 Operatives.
Scope of work encompasses New Build, Refurbishment, Maintenance and Management Contracts with Specialist Trades regularly employed, giving a full and comprehensive range through all aspects of the Building Industry.
- Design and Build Services.
- Personal involvement
- attention by the Directors in an experienced, well established Company.
- All office staff have there own E-mail address.
- All site managers have laptops, mobile phones and E-mail facility on site for instant access.
With the Directors managing the day to day activities of the Company and with a wealth of experience over the years the Company has prospered, despite the buffeting in the economic climate of the Building Industry.
